The Rome Italy Chapter has been the first Chapter in Italy and for this reason it works, accordingly to its own Statute, throughout the nation.
Many of the most important Italian financial companies (such as Eni, ENI, Saipem-Snamprogetti, HP, EDS, Atos Origin, Ericsson, SAS Alcatel-Lucent) have their own representatives in the Chapter.
During these ten years of life, the participation to the Chapter increased constantly.
Subscribing to the Rome Italy Chapter gives the chance to join a group of professionals working in the center of Italy, and not only, professionals that support and take care of the Project Manager profession.
The possibility to share experiences among representatives of different industries increase their skills.
The Chapter is the focal point for those who are going to achieve the PMI® Certifications.
The Registration at the Chapter allows the members to participate in events with special conditions.
In this regard, the Chapter has introduced into its web site, and for members only, some features as forum and networking with the purpose of stimulating contacts among the members of the Chapter and give them the tools that facilitate the sharing of different working experiences.
To become part of our Chapter is necessary to send the registration directly to
PMI®.
The
PMI® manages all the registrations in a centralized manner and will send a notification of registration to the Chapter.
Registering at Rome Italy Chapter requires subscription to the PMI®. The Subscription is possible through the website of
PMI® using the appropriate
on-line function, or you can also download the form to be filled in and sent to the PMI ®.
If you are already enrolled in the PMI ® you can subscribe separately the Chapter, it is not necessary to wait for the annual renewal. The subscription to the Chapter may be simultaneous with that of PMI ®.
To subscribe to the Chapter when you are already members of PMI ® follow the steps listed below:
1) Access the Members only area,
2) Click on folder Get Involved,
3) Into Components & Communities, click on Join a PMI Component in your area
4) Click on Chapters,
5) Click on View full list of PM Chapters,
6) and then on Italy
A list of the Italian Chapter will appear, select Rome Italy Chapter and continue with the registration.
The registration to the Chapter allows the members to join the LinkedIn Professional Group specially created by the Rome Chapter Italy through which the members can share and exchange professional experiences among them and develop their network of contacts.
To subscribe click on the logo and make request at the Group Manager to be included in the group.
